Professional biography
Dr Bramley graduated from University of Manchester in 1991 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1995. He qualified as a Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists in 2000 and has been employed as a Consultant Radiologist at the Christie NHS Foundation trust since 2001. He was Clinical Director of Radiology at the Christie from 2009-2017 and oversaw a significant expansion in the diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services, multidisciplinary meetings, research and education. He has also held a number of national and regional appointments and led large transformation programmes including the national implementation of advanced digital imaging (Picture Archive and Communication Systems). His was appointed as the Chief Clinical Information Officer at Christie in 2011 and became an Associate Medical Director in 2017. His clinical supporting activities include developing regional radiology referral services, clinical decision support systems, and capture of clinical outcomes as part of the Christie Electronic Patient Record.
