Professional biography
Dr Burnett qualified from Edinburgh University in 1991 with intercalated honours, with higher medical training to MRCP in South Birmingham. He trained in radiology at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospital from 1994 to 1998 leading to a fellowship focused on nutrition failure and virtual colonoscopy at Salford Royal. He was a consultant radiologist at Salford Royal from 1999- 2017 with interests in nutrition failure radiology including diagnostic fluoroscopy, nutritional support and intervention and was body lead radiologist and cancer lead radiologist.
He joined the Christie in 2017 with interests in all areas of diagnostic oncological radiology and to develop interests in PET-CT
